Billie Pelling - Terri Butler MP, Labor for Griffith

Billie Pelling

TB_GADA_2018_(137_of_269).jpgBillie has been a volunteer for many organisations during her lifetime, participating in politics, sports, school and club activities.

The founding member of the Gordonvale Women’s Branch in the 1960s (when women weren’t allowed to join the party), Billie has dedicated her life to being active in politics. And she is a trail blazer for women in this space.

Beyond this though, she has contributed to community groups wherever she goes.

She has served on local pony clubs, swimming clubs, and tenant committees, and she has been a lifeline Australia volunteer for more than 10 years.

Volunteerism and community service is part of who Billie is, and for that we are grateful.
