Carina Listening Post 16 April - Terri Butler MP, Labor for Griffith

Carina Listening Post 16 April

To better represent our community in Australia’s Parliament, I need to hear locals’ views. I’m keen to hear from you about the issues facing your household, and how we can make the Southside an even better place to live, work and raise a family.

In Parliament and in the community, I’ve been standing up for the issues that matter - like supporting better access to education, opposing the Liberals’ cuts to health, defending retirement incomes, calling for the broadband access that our community needs, and supporting policies aimed at improving housing affordability.

Labor stands for economic growth, and for making sure that everyone has the opportunity to share in its benefits.

Our Your Child, Our Future education policy is a transformative, once-in-two-generations change that will ensure more individual attention for students, better trained teachers, more targetted resources, and more support for students with special learning needs.

We are standing strongly against the Turnbull government’s planned hospital funding cuts, GP tax, prescription medicine price increases, and dental cuts.

I will be in your area on 16 April. Come by - let's talk.
