The founder of Circles of Life, Carol MacArthur, had an idea in 2013 to start a forum which would inspire and motivate women, essentially a place for people to meet and chat.
Through this work, women have been able to share their experiences of triumph in the face of adversity.
Every year, Circles of Life hosts an annual Forum that attracts more than 600 people, despite little to no money for advertising and its youth as an organisation.
Women who participate in these forums come from all over South East Queensland and are enriched by the shared knowledge and experiences of wonderful women.
Recently, Circles of Life have undertaken documentary making projects that look at different experiences of womanhood.
Carol has led a team of dedicated volunteers, who are here today. Each of them hold jobs, undertake studies and care for families.
