Clinicians, community representatives and health professionals who want to make a difference for people in the Brisbane South area are invited to join one of Brisbane South PHN’s advisory councils.
Brisbane South PHN’s Clinical Council and Community Advisory Council have been providing positive support for health initiatives in the region since the establishment of the PHN two years ago. The end of the current term provides the opportunity to refresh the membership base.
The Clinical Council assists Brisbane South PHN to develop local strategies that will improve the operation of the health care system for patients, while the Community Advisory Council advises on local issues to better meet the unique needs of the community. Together they are tasked with informing and guiding the development of Brisbane South PHN strategy through recommendations to the Brisbane South PHN Board.
To ensure the councils focus on local needs, it is preferred that applicants live or work within the Brisbane South PHN boundaries. People who have strong links within the community are encouraged to apply.
Applications will close at 5pm Friday, 6 October 2017.
Interested members may complete the application and send to firstname.lastname@example.org.
