International Residence for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Artists: Applications Closing Soon!

 

Are you an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander artist? Would you like support to develop and exhibit your work in the USA?

Location: Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

Dates: September – November 2018, February – April 2019 (specific dates to be negotiated with the University)
Amount: $5,000

Residency opportunity
The Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection of the University of Virginia is the USA’s only museum dedicated to the exhibition and study of Australian Aboriginal art. This residency offers Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander visual artists the opportunity to develop work over a four-week period, engage with the university’s networks, and exhibit their work in the museum.
