The role of the Queensland Sentencing Advisory Council is to inform, engage and advise on sentencing matters in Queensland.
The Council is holding an information session at Brisbane Square Library (Community Meeting Room) on Wednesday 23 May between 1.30pm and 5.30pm.
As a member of the public, you are invited to drop in any time during the information session.
The Council would like to talk to you about their work and in particular hear your thoughts on their current sentencing reviews:
- sentencing for offences involving the unlawful death of a child
- community based sentencing orders, imprisonment and parole options.
No need to book an appointment, just come along at a time that suits.
