Women's Health Week 2018 - Terri Butler MP, Labor for Griffith

Women's Health Week 2018

Women’s Health Week has been a permanent fixture on the Australian health calendar since 2013. The week was founded by Jean Hailes for Women’s Health, which is the official Federal Government’s national digital gateway for women’s health.

Women’s Health Week (3 to 7 September 2018) is an opportunity for women, workplaces and communities to take the time to access and share evidence-based information that is aimed at promoting good health in ways that support sustained behaviour change.

Women’s Health Week continues to go from strength to strength, as the public and health care professionals recognise the benefits of taking time out to think about health issues. This year more than 60,000 women are expected to take part in over 1,500 events around the country. More than 25,000 have registered already to receive the free health-related content emailed to them every day of Women’s Health Week.
