Stronger Communities Round 5 is now open!

The expression of interest form is at the bottom of this page.

The Stronger Communities Programme is aimed at improving local community participation and contributing to vibrant and viable communities.

Our electorate has total funding of up to $150,000 that can be allocated to successful applications. A maximum of 20 projects will be funded.

  • The minimum grant amount is $2,500.
  • The maximum grant amount is $20,000.

Matched funding

The grant can be put towards up to 50 per cent of the cost of your project. Your organisation needs to fund the remainder. You can fund your share from any other source, including from state and local government. Your organisation's contribution can be either cash or in-kind.

Your project's timing

You must complete your project within six months of your project start date and no later than 30 June 2020.

You may start your project from the date you submit your application. However, if you choose to start your project before you have an executed grant agreement, you do so at your own risk.

Eligibility

Your organisation needs to be not-for-profit, and it needs to have an ABN.

Your project must be a small capital works or capital expenditure project and it must deliver social benefits to our community.

Closing date

Applications close on 10 October but my office will need to assess them first. Please send me your application by 10 September 2019. Applications received after that date may not be considered.
